Today happens to be a day dedicated to Public Relations. Institute of Technology and Management, Dehradun, understands the value and importance of Public Relations and inspired students to celebrate the day and have a discussion alongwith presentations on it.
According to Chairman of I.T.M. Dehradun Nishant Thapliyal, it is the very art of maintaining relationships with one another that maintains harmony and takes us to glory in all fields, be it profession or passion.
At the instance of I.T.M. Dehradun’s Chairman Nishant Thapliyal, Department of Journalism and Mass Communication of the college celebrated National P.R. Day on the campus. This day is also known as foundation day of Public Relations of Society.
Students of the Mass Communication Department, under the guidance of their lecturers, celebrated the day with their P.P.T. presentations on various aspects of P.R. which included Introduction to P.R., Chapters of P.R.S.I., How Celebrity P.R. Works, About P.R.S.I. & P.R.S.A., Scope of P.R., Roles of P.R. and Government P.R.
Presentations by the students reflected the able teaching by lecturers as the subject and content put forth by the students showed knowledge and application.
Prominent students who took part were Karishma Bagri, Soni Pal, Vaishnavi Bhatt, Jatin Bhatt, Rajlaxmi, Taranpreet and Nancy Rawat. All the students had their spirits high by the honorable presence of Chairman Nishant Thapliyal, Principal Dr Anju Gairola, Registrar Ruchi, Dean Dr Ravi Bahuguna and H.O.D. of Mass Communication Priyank.
This is how I.T.M. Dehradun grooms up its students and gets them aware of the importance of days and relevance related to it. This is why I.T.M. Dehradun always happens be a hot cake for the industry at time of giving jobs and placement drives.
