NEW DELHI, July 18, 2024 (TBINN)
Any order for conducting N.E.E.T.-U.G. 2024 afresh has to be on concrete basis that the sanctity of entire exam was affected, Supreme Court said today.
A bench comprising Chief Justice of India (C.J.I.) D.Y. Chandrachud and justices J.B. Pardiwla and Manoj Misra commenced the crucial hearing on a batch of petitions related to the controversy-ridden medical entrance exam N.E.E.T.-U.G. 2024, saying that it has “social ramifications”.
The top court adjourned cases listed ahead of N.E.E.T.-U.G. pleas and said, “We will open the case today. Lakhs of young students are waiting for this, let us hear and decide.”
