Reacting to the way in which administration and police lathi-charged the protesting unemployed youth against the recruitment scams in Uttarakhand’s capital city of Dehradun, Uttarakhand Unemployed Union has called a state-wide bandh today on February 10, 2023.
Taking notice of the call for bandh, Senior Superintendent of Police, Dehradun has issued warning that anyone found indulging in disturbing the atmosphere, will be dealt with sternly.
On the other hand, Uttarakhand Government has directed Chief Secretary of Uttarakhand to go for a detailed Magisterial Inquiry in the issue of protest and lath-charge by police.
