In protest against the lathi-charge by police in capital city if Uttarakhand, Dehradun, the youth collected in Haldwani and collectively started chanting Geeta Paath.
Whereas, in Dehradun the Youth Congress burnt an effigy of Uttarakhand’s Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
Reportedly, unemployed youth barged in to the office of District Magistrate of Dehradun and raised slogans against the Collector.
Though the police turned District Magistrate’s office-compound in to a cantt, but the agitation by the unemployed youth continued.
