SIX DEAD AND MANY INJURED AS BUS CATCHES FIRE DUE TO CARELESSNESS OF ELECTRICITY DEPARTMENT IN UTTAR PRADESH

GHAZIPUR, (Uttar Pradesh), Mar.11, 2024 (TBINN)

At least six people were killed and 11 others injured when a bus in which they were travelling came in contact with an overhead high-voltage wire here today, police said.

The accident took place when members of a marriage party from Mau were on their way to Mahahar Temple under Mardah Police Station, S.H.O. Dharmendra Kumar Pandey told The Bharat India over phone.

Reportedly, bus came in contact with a high-tension electric line and caught fire, S.H.O. Dharmendrs Pandey said, adding relief and rescue operations are going on.
