PROTEST AT R.E.R.A. AGAINST BUILDERS IN UTTARAKHAND

DEHRADUN, Mar. 28, 2033 (TBINN)

People who invested money to have houses in Pushpanjali Orchid Park today staged a protest outside Real Estate Regulatory Authority (R.E.R.A.) at Rajiv Gandhi Complex in state capital. The protesters demanded action against the absconding builders who are missing with their money. According to the protesters, builders Deepak Mittal and Rajpal Walia absconded with their hard-earned money amounting to Rs 45 crore in total. Builders of Pushpanjali Realms and Infratech Limited abandoned the project back in 2018 and the buyers were left without the apartments promised to them, protesters alleged. Many are still paying rent and loan installments for apartments they never got despite paying for them. Now the investors in the above project want to have justice or, they threat, will intensify their protest.
