Police in search of Ankita’s body alongwith S.D.R.F.

It has come to light through Police authorities that Ankita Bhandari, aged 19, who was working as a Receptionist in Yamkeshwar’s Vanantra Resort at Village Kodia has been murdered. Body of Ankita Bhandari is yet to be traced.
Earlier, Ankita went missing from the Vanantra Resort late Evening of September 18, 2022. A hunt was launched to know the whereabouts of the girl, but efforts went in vain. Later, one Pulkit Arya, son of former Uttarakhand’s Bhartiya Janta Party’s state minister Vinod Arya and owner of the resort, got arrested alongwith manager of resort Saurabh Bhaskar and accomplice Ankit.
Shekhar Suyal, Additional Superintendent of Police, informed The Bharat India at Lakshman Jhula Police Station of District Pauri that the young girl Ankita Bhandari was being forced to enter flesh trade.The girl was being pressurized to entertain the guests of the resort. When denied, Pulkit Arya, Saurabh Bhaskar and Ankit killed Ankita and threw her body in the Shakti River at Cheela, Additional S.P. Shekhar Suyal added and claimed that the three accused have admitted of committing the murder.
According to the Police, soon the body of Ankita Bhandari will be traced with the help of S.D.R.F. in Shakti River. Search operation for Ankita’s body is being done at the place where accused divulged to have thrown her body.
