Trinamool Congress’ Member of Parliament Mahua Moitra today alleged that Bhartiya Janta Party is planning criminal cases against her, days after she appeared before the Lok Sabha Ethics Committee in connection with the Cash for Query allegations against her.
Mahua also reiterated her charge that Ethics Committee’s Chairperson Vinod Kumar Sonkar asked her cheap and irrelevant questions during the hearing on November 2, 2023.
In a post on Social Medis, Mahua Moitra said, “Shaking in my skin to know BJP planning criminal cases against me.” “Welcome them – only know that CBI and ED need to file FIR against Adani for Rs. 13,0000 crore coal scam before they question how many pairs of shoes I have,” she said.
