Office bearers of the Parvatiya Mahaparishad, Lucknow, met Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami in capital of Uttar Pradesh and demanded operation of Vande Bharat Train’s service between Dehradun and Lucknow.
During Dhami’s visit to Lucknow, a delegation of Mahaparishad, led by its president Ganesh Chandra Joshi met Pushkar Singh and handed over a memorandum and requested that lakhs of people of Uttarakhand reside in districts of eastern U.P. and face problems in travelling to Dehradun.
Delegation demanded that a Vande Bharat Express should be operated between Dehradun and Lucknow. Chief Minister Dhami assured the delegation that he will meet Union minister of Railways and request him for Vande Bharat Train’s service between these two stations.
