Aam Aadmi Party’s M.L.A.s will stay overnight at the Delhi Assembly premises, demanding a probe against Lieutenant Governor V.K. Saxena for allegedly changing banned currency notes during his term as K.V.I.C. chairman, party sources said
Aam Admi Party is up in arms against the L.G. after A.A.P.’s M.L.A. Durgesh Pathak alleged in the Assembly on Monday that Saxena had pressured his employees to exchange demonetised notes worth Rs 1, 400 crore in 2016, when he was the chairman of Khadi and Village Industries Commission (K.V.I.C.). We are going to stay overnight in the Delhi Assembly in protest and to demand a probe against the L.G., a source in the A.A.P. said
Earlier in the day on Monday, a probe into the alleged scam was also demanded.
