PATNA & NEW DELHI, Jan. 27, 2024 (TBINN)
Power politics in Bihar has intensified amid strong indications that Chief Minister and Janta Dal (United) chief Nitish Kumar may do yet another volte-face and return to Bhartiya Janta Party-led N.D.A. with former state deputy chief minister and B.J.P. Rajya Sabha member Sushil Kumar Modi asserting that “doors are never closed permanently” in politics.
The trouble between Janta Dal (U) & Rashtriya Janta Dal was out in the open when Nitish Kumar attended the High Tea Ceremony held at Raj Bhavan in Patna on the occasion of Republic Day but his Deputy Tejashwi Yadav skipped the function.
Nitish Kumar was seen exchanging pleasantries with other guests, including B.J.P.’s Vijay Kumar Sinha, who is also the leader of Opposition in the state Assembly.
