Rupees Five Lakh declared by government for the victims

The dead in the Chamoli Electrocution Incident include three police official and three home guards, official informed.
Initial investigation revealed that there was current on the railing. Additional Director-General of Police, Uttarakhand, V. Murugesan said that around 15 people including a police sub-inspector and three home guards have died. Investigation is under way. Prima Facie revelation show there was current on the railing and the investigation will reveal the further details.
Uttarakhand’s Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the injured are being referred to higher centre and are being shifted to A.I.I.M.S. Hrishikesh via helicopter. Amount of Rupees Five Lakh has been declared for the victims.
