DHAMI ASKS TO FOCUS ON FARMERS’ INCOME IN UTTARAKHAND

In order to double the income of farmers, Uttarakhand’s Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has said that high value crops should be encouraged and special focus should be put on branding, packaging and marketing of the local produce.

Chief Minister held a meeting with the officers of Agriculture and Horticulture at the state secretariat for the same.In the meeting Pushkar Singh reviewed the progress of department on the short, mid and long-term road-map to achieve the target of ‘empowered Uttarakhand @ 25’.
