ARUNACHAL TO WITNESS PROTEST AGAINST APPOINTMENT OF NON-ARUNACHALIS IN POSTAL JOBS

Disappointed with Postal Department allegedly for appointing non-Arunachali candidates against vacancies, a conglomeration of 10 organisations has decided to hold a protest rally in Itanagar on September 12, 2023.
The outfits have been demanding immediate cancellation of ongoing appointment of non-Arunachali candidates against 2,596 vacancies in 866 post office branches across the state and introduction of local dialects in Post Office job recruitment rules, among others.
Organisations include Save Arunachal Save Indigenous (S.A.S.I.), Save Arunachal Youth Association (S.A.Y.A.), Indigenous Movement Against Corruption and Reformation (I.M.A.C&R) and Arunachal Nari Shakti.
