HINDU WOMAN SANA RAMCHAND APPOINTED ASSISTANT COMMISSIONER IN PAKISTAN

Sana Ramchand, a 27-year-old woman from Pakistan’s minority Hindu community has been appointed Assistant Commissioner and Administrator in Punjab’s province’s Hassanabdal, the first in town’s history.
Teportedly, Sana Ramchand Gulwani, grew up in Sindh Province’s Shikarpur city, graduated to become a doctor at her parents’ wishes, before enrolling for the Federal Public Service Commission.
Sana Ramchand became the first woman from Hindu community to join the Pakistan Administrative Service (P.A.S.) after clearing the Central Superior Services (CSS) Exam in 2020.
