India Meteorological Department (I.M.D.) has issued a Yellow Alert for heavy rains in Uttarakhand from 11to13 June, 2023.
The weather office in its forecast also stated that there is a possibility of rain in some places in the hilly districts of the state today.
According to the I.M.D., on 11 June, 2023 thunderstorm accompanied by lightning and gusty wind (40-50 Kmph) is likely to occur at isolated places in Uttarakhand. For 12 to 13 June, 2023 predictions, it said that thunderstorm accompanied by lightning, hail and squall (Wind Speed 50-60 Kmph gusting up to 70 Kmph) is likely to occur at isolated places in Uttarakhand.
