DEHRADUN, Oct. 29, 2023 (TBINN)
Work on Ropeway Project between Uttarakhand’s capital Dehradun and Mussoorie has started.
Work on the above Ropeway Project has been initiated by F.I.L. Industries that will link Dehradun and Mussoorie. Notably, this is going to be the longest passenger aerial rope-way development in India. Besides, this will also be amongst world’s top five in terms of length for mono-cable ropeway.
It is pertinent to mention here that Dehradun-Mussoorie Ropeway Project will be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 300 crore. This Ropeway Project is being built by the Mussoorie Sky Car Company Pvt, a consortium led by F.I.L. Industries and composed of S.R.M. Engineering LLP along with technology partner P.O.M.A. S.A.S. France.
The above 5.5 K.M.-long project will, seemingly, ease the journey between Dehradun and Mussoorie, rather, hassle-free of traffic jams, but may cost livelihood of taxi owners, restaurant owners and small vendors earning roadside on way to Mussoorie.
But it is a fact that any change comes at some cost.
