Though the people protest all over Iran against a law forcing women to cover their heads, Indian Badminton Player Tanya Hemanth was asked to wear a head-scarf before stepping onto the podium to for Gold Medal after her Single’s win at Iran Fajr International Challenge in Tehran.
Reportedly, organisers asked the 19-year-old to wear a head-scarf at the ceremony as it was protocol.
