In a surprizing, yet an inspirational story of Nawda Al-Qahtani, aged 110 years from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has come to fore highlighting the importance of education for humanity.
Nawda Al-Qahtani, at 110 years of age and mother of four has joined the school and is doing homework! Nawda Al-Qahtani’s oldest son is 80 years old while her youngest boy is in his 50s!
Age didn’t stop the centenarian from joining the Saudi government’s illiteracy eradication programme several weeks ago, Arab authorities said.
Reportedly, Nawda Al-Qahtani is attending schooling Al-Rahwa Center in the Umwah Governorate in the Kingdom’s South-West along with many other senior citizens. However, she is the oldest student by far in the batch. At least 50 people are part of the lessons at the centre, authorities shared.
