GANGOTRI NATIONAL PARK, April 1, 2023 (TBINN)
Gates of Gangotri National Park were opened today for general public. Deputy Director of National Park R.N. Pandey said that every year the gates are closed on 30th November in the Winters and are opened on 1st April.
Deputy Director said that on first day four tourists reached to tour Nelang Valley and informed that in the days to come the mountaineering and tourism activities will speed up.
Deputy Director said that Gomukh Tapovan Trek, Kedartal, Sundervan Nandanvan, Vasukital, Janaktal Trek and Gartang Gali in Gangotri National Park area attracts the tourists. According to him, after CORONA Pandemic the number of tourists visiting park increased during the last two years and this year more tourists are expected.
