In hill state of Uttarakhand voting for Lok Sabha elections will be held on April 19, 2024.
Uttarakhand’s Chief Electoral Officer B.V.R.C. Purushottam informed about the schedule for elections announced by the Election Commission of India yesterday. Notification for elections in five Lok Sabha constituencies of Tehri, Almora (S.C.), Nainital, Pauri and Haridwar, will be issued on March 20, 2024 and with this, the process of filing of the nomination papers will start.
Last date for submitting the nomination papers is March 27, 2024 and the scrutiny of the nomination papers will be done on March 28, 2024 while March 30, 2024 is the last date of withdrawal of the nomination papers.
Casting of votes in the hill state for Lok Sabha Elections will be on April 19, 2024. The counting of votes will be done on June 4, 2024 and the results will also be declared the same day.
