Uttarakhand’s State Health Department reported a staggering 139 new cases of the COVID-19 during past 24 hours in the hill state.
Icidentally, this is highest number of cases of the disease in the last many months. Uttarakhand now has 350 active cases of the disease.
Authorities reported 69 new cases of COVID-19 from state’s capital Dehradun only in past 24 hours. State Health Department found 28 new cases of the disease in Nainital, nine each in Uttarkashi and Udham Singh Nagar, six in Haridwar, five in Almora, four each in Bageshwar and Pithoragarh, three in Champawat and two in Pauri.
Anyhow, no new cases of CORONA were reported from Chamoli, Rudraprayag and Udham Singh Nagar districts of Uttarakhand.
