SRINAGAR, Sep. 13, 2023 (TBINN)
Three security force officers including an Army Colonel, who was leading the team, were killed in a gun-fight with terrorists in Kokernag Area of Kashmir’s Anantnag District, officials said here today.
Colonel Manpreet Singh, Major Ashish, Deputy Superintendent of Jammu and Kashmir Police Humayun Bhat and one S.P.O. were critically injured in the gunfight and died, later, they said, due to heavy blood loss, they added.
Besides, one Army Dog on duty also attained martyrdom and saved his handler.
