A big mishap got averted today in the capital city of Uttarakhand when a truck full of L.P.G. cylinders lost its control at Chandrabani cross-section.
The accident happened while negotiating the traffic. Driver of the truck coming from Delhi Side lost control over the vehicle and rammed into the wall of a temple on cross-section. But, to everyone’s respite the truck dashed with the lintel of temple and stopped.
Thus, the vehicle got damaged, but, luckily, none got seriously hurt as Chandrabani Cross-section usually remains very busy with traffic and make-shift selling trolleys of ice-cream etc. remain parked there on side of Delhi-Dehradun Highway.
