A 61-year-old Trinamool Congress’ worker, who was injured in a political clash at Bhangar in West Bengal’s South 24 Parganas District on the eve of July 8, 2023 panchayat polls, died today, an official said.
An accusing finger has been pointed at the Indian Secular Front (I.S.F.) for the murder by the T.M.C., but the Opposition rejected the allegation.
It is to be reminded here that Seikh Moslem was seriously injured in an attack with rods at Bhangar on July 7, 2023 night when he was passing through a forested area, hours before the panchayat elections. He succumbed in a private hospital in Kolkata, official informed.
