NEW DELHI, Jul. 14, 2023 (TBINN)
The raging River Yamuna showed signs of calming today but the breach in a drain regulator led to waterlogging in some parts of Delhi such as I.T.O., with flood-water reaching close to Supreme Court’s complex, causing hardship for the people.
Water also entered the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial at Rajghat due to backflow from a drain in the area.
Three boys drowned while bathing in the floodwaters of North-West Delhi’s Mukundpur Chowk Area. These were the first deaths reported in the city since Yamuna water crossed the danger mark last Monday.
