UTTARKASHI, Oct. 5, 2022 (TBINN)
In Uttarakhand’s Uttarkashi District on Tuesday at least 10 mountaineers were reportedly killed in an avalanche at Mount Draupadi Ka Danda – II peak, four bodies have been retrieved.
State Disaster Management Authority has confirmed four deaths, while eight mountaineers were rescued.
The rescue operations were halted for the night due to darkness and bad weather.
