SUPREME COURT HALTS REINSTATEMENT OF RAJIV BHARTARI AS UTTARAKHAND’s FOREST DEPARTMENT HEAD

NEW DELHI, April 18, 2023 (TBINN)

Supreme Court has halted the reinstatement of Rajiv Bhartari as the head of Forest Force in Uttarakhand, following a stay on the Uttarakhand High Court’s order. Rajiv Bhartari, who resumed charge after High Court’s order, had his operational powers limited and issued transfer orders for Forest Department employees before Supreme Court intervened.
