STEMPEDE AT BABA BAGESHWAR’s DARBAR IN GREATER N.O.I.D.A. LEAVES MANY INJURED

Stampede broke out at Baba Bageshwar Court and at least 10 people were injured among the crowd in Greater N.O.I.D.A..

Incident occurred when the crowd in Baba’s court became uncontrollable, leading to people falling unconscious and sustaining serious injuries. The stampede at Baba Bageshwar Darbar affected a large number of children, elders and women. Amidst the chaos, some people in the pandal suffered electric shocks. Fearing electrocution, people began running here and there, triggering a stampede.

In an attempt to escape the pandemonium, some people resorted to jumping over barricades as police intervened and managed to pacify the crowd, restoring order in Baba Bageshwar’s, so called, court.
