Himachal Pradesh Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania today disqualified six Congress M.L.A.s who defied the party whip to vote in favour of government on Finance Bill in the House.
Disqualified M.L.A.s are Rajinder Rana, Sudhir Sharma, Inder Dutt Lakhanpal, Devinder Kumar Bhutoo, Ravi Thakur and Chetanya Sharma.
Addressing reporters, Kuldeep Pathania, who had reserved his verdict on the disqualification of the M.L.A.s on Wednesday, said the legislators attracted Anti-Defection Law by defying the Congress-whip as they were elected on the party’s tickets.
