A shocking incident of assault and molestation has come to light from a school in N.O.I.D.A., sparking outrage and demanding immediate action.
Reportefly, five students have been booked for, allegedly, assaulting and molesting their girl classmate, a crime that has sent shockwaves across the educational fraternity.
Victim reported the initial harassment to school principal, hoping for immediate intervention. However, the accused students, who are minors, continued to misbehave with her. Despite the victim’s cry for help, school failed to take necessary action to ensure her safety, leading to the subsequent assault, is said to be the cause of assault.
Following the incident and report, police initiated an investigation into the matter. Accused students have been booked under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including rioting, assault, sexual assault, and criminal intimidation.
Meanwhile, the school also initiated its own probe into the incident. Victim’s father claimed that the school authorities did nothing to address the initial complaint and alleged that the school’s inaction led to the further assault of his daughter.
Accused students allegedly belong to influential families, which raises questions about the role of power dynamics in the incident and subsequent handling of the case.
