Repprtedly, seven children died and over 20 others injured after a schoolbus overturned in Haryana’s Narnaul today morning.
Notably, school was functioning despite a holiday for Eid-ul-Fitr, officials said. As said by authorities, bus belonged to G.L. Public School which overturned near Unhani Village of Kanina.
According to District Education Officer, initial investigation syggests that the driver lost control iver bus and rammed it into a tree. He might have been drunk, he added.
As per District Administration, 12 injured students were moved to a local hospital and police are investigating accident’s cause.
It has also come to light that Fitness Certificate of the bus expired six years ago in 2018. Then how the bus was plying and school was opened on declared holiday of Eid.
