DEHRADUN, Dec. 8, 2023 (TBINN)
In view of Global Investors’ Summit to be inaugurated at the Forest Research Institute (F.R.I.) of Uttarakhand’s capital today, traffic on various routes leading to Dehradun and inside the city will remain diverted.
Uttarakhand Police has appealed to the public in Dehradun to avoid the use of Ballupur, Cantt Road and Chakrata Road.
As per the Route Diversion Plan, issued by the police, traffic coming from Vikasnagar to Dehradun City will be diverted towards Shimla by-pass via Dhulkot while the traffic coming from Vikasnagar towards the city via Premnagar will be diverted towards Shimla by-pass via Premnagar Bazaar, Daru Chowk and Gorakhpur Chowk.
Likewise, the traffic coming from Premnagar to Panditwadi will be diverted towards Vasant Vihar via Lovely Market. Heavy vehicles coming from I.S.B.T. towards Rispana will be diverted towards the Dudhli Road from the Kargi Chowk and heavy vehicles coming to Dehradun from Haridwar will be stopped at Laltappad and Harrawala.
