Congress’ leader Rahul Gandhi has promised a nation-wide caste census and removal of 50 per cent cap on reservation if the I.N.D.I.A. Bloc forms the government at the Centre after Lok Sabha polls.
Rahul Gandhi also launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying when the demand for caste census was raised and the time came to give rights to O.B.C.s, Dalits and Tribals, the P.M. stated there are no castes, but when it is time to get votes, he says he is an O.B.C.
Rahul Gandhi also alleged that Bhartiya Janta Party tried to topple the J.M.M.-Congress-R.J.D. Government in Jharkhand as the chief minister was a tribal.
