In a very shameful incident at National Capital’s Jantar Mantar where wrestlers of international level are protesting against Bhartiya Janta Party’s M.P. Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh for his alleged misbehavior with female wrestlers, was witnessed when Delhi Police used force to disperse the wrestlers from the protest-site.
The incident, reportedly, occurred when Aam Admi Party’s leader Somnath Bharti arrived at the protest-site with folding beds for the protesting wrestlers who were finding hard to sit or sleep on the water-lodged protest-site due to continuous rain. But the Delhi Police started snatching away the folding beds from the wrestlers.
Reportedly, one of the female wrestlers got head injury and many other wrestlers have also got injured. This raises a natural question that Central Government is standing for, under which, Delhi Police comes.
Somnath Bharti complained that he has been detained by the Delhi Police for no reason, whereas, the alleged accused Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh is moving scot free. It has also come in to knowledge that very many wrestlers and villagers from the adjoining states have been appealed to come to the protest-site.
Now, seemingly, this protest will echo vibrantly because of this unfortunate incident, which could have been easily dealt with or negotiated.
