A sad news has come from Kedarnath where a person lost his life after getting hit by tail-rotor of helicopter on his head.
The deceased has been identified as Amit Saini who happened to be a financial controller with Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority. Amit Saini went to Kedarnath for inspection of helipad at Kedarnath on a helicopter of Crystal Aviation Company.
Reportedly, when Amit Saini got down from the helicopter and moved back a little, the rotors of helicopter were still on and Amit’s head got hit by it. It is felt that he died on the spot.
Further details of the incident and probe are awaited.
