MEAT SHOPS CLOSED IN N.O.I.D.A. DURING NAVRATRAS WITHOUT ANY ORDER

N.O.I.D.A., Sep. 27, 2022 (TBINN)

Reportedly, all meat shops have been closed in N.O.I.D.A. in view of the on-going nine-day festivities of Navaratri.

It has been witnessed that shops have been closed since the very first day of Navaratri. The N.O.I.D.A. Police has allegedly asked the shopkeepers to close their shops during the festivities. However, no such government order has been issued by the district administration and police.

On condition of anonymity it is being said by the shopkeepers that the local police got the meat shops around temple and the puja pandal closed. The police has instructed not to open the shop for nine days, they allege.

However, N.O.I.D.A.’s District Magistrate Suhas L.Y. and Joint Police Commissioner Luv Kumar deny issuing any such order from their end.
