Uttarakhand Police said today that alleged mastermind of fake-degree-racket has been arrested from Ajmer in Rajasthan.
The prime suspect, Imlakh Khan, was supposed to be mastermind behind the fake Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S.) degrees detected by the in Uttarakhand by the Special Task Force.
On interrogation, we had identified 36 cases with fake B.A.M.S. degrees in Uttarakhand. They got fake degrees with the tag of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru. These fake degrees were prepared by owners or chairman of Baba Group of Colleges Muzaffarnagar, Imlakh and Imran, residents of Muzaffarnagar in exchange for money, Special Task Force’s Senior Superintendent of Police Ayush Agarwal disclosed.
