Former chief election commissioner Manohar Singh Gill died at a South Delhi’s hospital today after a brief illness, according to people close to him.
Manohar Singh Gill was 86. He will be cremated in National Capital tomorrow, on Monday, they said.
A former bureaucrat, Manohar Singh Gill served under Parkash Singh Badal as a young officer when Shiromani Akali Dal patriarch was Punjab’s chief minister.
