A Delhi’s court today dismissed bail application of Aam Aadmi Party’s leader Manish Sisodia in a money laundering case related to the alleged Excise Policy Scam. Relief to Manish Sisodia was denied by Special Judge M.K. Nagpal saying the stage was not fit to grant him bail. Earlier, the judge reserved the order after hearing arguments on Sisodia’s plea seeking relief claiming that his custody was no longer required for investigation.
The Enforcement Directorate (E.D.) opposed the application, asserting that the investigation was at a crucial stage and claiming the senior A.A.P. leader planted fabricated e-mails to show there was public approval for the policy.
Now Manish Sisodia prepares to knock at High Court.
