An under-construction building has been sealed by Mussoorie Dehradun Development Authority on Mall Road.
Action was taken by M.D.D.A. when many anamolies were reported in section of local Press regarding sanctioning of map of the building and norms & guidelines being flouted during construction.
Sealed structure, happens to be in the compound of Hotel Hakman’s on Mall Road of Queen of Hills, Mussoorie and was undergoing reconstruction. While speaking to the Press, Atul Gupta, M.D.D.A.’s Executive Engineer, said, the building’s height was approximately 2.19 metres below the Mall Road, instead of required 3 metres, as per the guidelines.
Therefore, acting on the orders of M.D.D.A.’s Joint Secretary, the building has been sealed by us, Executive Engineer Atul Gupta clarified.
