Uttarakhand Police’s Anti-Human Trafficking Unit busted a sex racket busted in Haldwani City of District Nainital. Three women, including the mastermind, have also been arrested in this connection, Police officials said.
Senior Superintendent of Police, Nainital, Pankaj Bhat, said that the arrested leader of the racket has been identified as Tania Sheikh. She had been living in a rented accommodation in Haldwani for the last one year, he added.
Tania Sheikh used to bring women from outside and they were sent to various hotels in the city. Various hotels were also complicit in the racket, Police informed.
