A major fire has been reported from Agra’s Shastripuram Industrial Area under Sikandra Police Station of the district.
Reportedly, the incident happened while a welding work was going on in the shed of a medicine factory in the name of Safecon. It is being said that a spark from the welding work ignited the cardboard kept there.
All of a sudden very loud sounds of explosion started, resulting in utter commotion in the area. The smoke could be seen from even one kilometre away in the daylight itself. On getting the information, Fire Brigade swung in to action and came on the spot with four fire tenders.
Thereafter, till reports came in, Fire Brigade was grappling with the situation as it was getting successful in dousing the fire and prevent it from spreading.
