Sitting M.P. Sanganna Karadi likely to join Congress
BENGALURU, April 16, 2024 (TBINN)
Peeved at being denied a ticket for the Lok Sabha elections, Bhartiya Janta Party’s incumbent M.P. from Koppal Seat Sanganna Karadi resigned from the party today, sources said.
According to them, Sanganna Karadi tendered his resignation to B.J.P’.s Karnataka unit president B.Y. Vijayendra. Speculations are rife that he may join the Congress tomorrow on Wednesday.
It is pertinent to mention here that B.J.P. has fielded Dr Basavaraj Kyavator from the seat. Karadi had been sulking ever since the party announced Kyavator’s candidature from Koppal.
