Reportedly, a woman, Sunita Devi, aged 32, was mauled to death by a leopard who was cutting grass.
The incident happened when leopard attacked her late Evening, Uttarkashi District Magistrate Abhishek Ruhela said. The site of attack by leopard is around two kilometres from Badi Mani Village in Chinyalisaud Block, which happensto be 70 K.M. from the district headquarters, District Magistrate said.
