Mortal remains of Legendary Cricket Spinner Bishan Singh Bedi were consigned to flames at the Lodhi Road crematorium in National Capital with a bevy of former and current cricketers in attendance to pay their tributes.
It was heart-touching as many broke down when Bishen Singh Bedi’s body, with Kapil Dev, Madan Lal, Kirti Azad, Gursharan Singh, Kartik Murali, wife Anju, son Angad, daughter Neha, daughter-in-law Neha Dhupia and son-in-law Gautam as pallbearers, was brought from his home `Cricket Abode’ in South Delhi.
Apart from Cricket giants, Hockey greats Ajitpal Singh and Gurbax Singh alongwith a galaxy of cricketers descended on National Capital to be part of Bishan Singh Bedi’s final journey.
