LAKE DISCOVERED AT ALTITUDE OF

16, 000 FEET IN UTTARAKHAND

Abhishek Panwar, a 25-year-old trekker and guide, had a very pleasant surprise after he and five other team-mates discovered a crystal clear lake at an altitude of around 16,000 feet in the picturesque Rudraprayag District of Uttarakhand.

Team members shared the news with friends after returning from the difficult trek in the Garhwal Himalayas. I cannot exactly explain in words how I felt after reaching the lake-side. It was a mix of excitement, happiness, emotion and a sense of creating a sort of history, Abhisekh Panwar told media over phone.
