BHUBANESWAR, Mar. 21, 2024 (TBINN)
Large number of Aam Aadmi Party (A.A.P.) supporters tonight launched an indefinite dharna in Odisha’s capital demanding the immediate release of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
Supporters, led by A.A.P.’s Odisha Unit convenor Nishikant Mohapatra, sat on dharna at Master Canteen Square in Bhubaneswar.
Notably, Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by Enforcement Directorate (E.D.) in an excise policy-linked money laundering case. The arrest, the first of a sitting chief minister, came hours after Delhi High Court refused to grant protection to A.A.P. national convenor from any coercive action by the agency.
