IRON BRIDGE SNAPS IN UTTARAKHAND

An iron bridge On Dhauliganga River, in District Chamoli of Uttarakhand An iron bridge snapped suddenly.

The iron bridge which broke down connected Niti Valley in Chamoli District, officials of the Border Roads Organization said.

Commander of Border Roads Organization Colonel Ankur Mahajan, posted at Joshimath, said the Valley Bridge on Dhauliganga River connecting Niti Valley in Burans near Malari snapped all of a sudden.

A dumper also fell down into the river due to the incident, Colonel Ankur added. But a point of respite is that no loss of life has been reported.
