More than 8,000 people will participate in the International Purple Fest 2024, which will begin in Goa on January 8, 2024, an official said today.
Goa’s Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) Guruprasad Pawaskar said assessment camps will be conducted and free aid will be distributed during the festival.
The Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (A.L.I.M.C.O.) unit at Goa Medical College and Hospital will ensure immediate access to artificial limbs, eliminating waiting periods after assessment, Guruprasad informed.
